Figure — how a typical crypto scam moves your money away from you

Scammers copy names, logos and even entire websites. On social media they reply from lookalike accounts within seconds of you posting a complaint, offering help you did not ask for.

Real support never asks for your seed phrase, private key or password. There is no situation where they need it.

Real support does not message you first on WhatsApp or Telegram after you post publicly.

Check the channel, not the profile picture. Go to the official site or app yourself and start the conversation there.

Screen-sharing and remote-access apps during a support call are a takeover in progress. End it.

The job version offers easy remote work completing tasks, pays a small amount, then requires a deposit to unlock higher-paying tasks.

Nobody you have never met in person should be guiding your investments.

A job that requires you to pay in is not a job.

Refusal to video call, or a call that is always tomorrow, is an answer.

Being asked to receive and forward money makes you a money mule, which is a criminal offence even when you were tricked.
